Its obviously warmer rather than colder water. otherwise I would say that there would likely be more crustaceans on them.

However long it was, it looks as though I missed a good party!

The Corsair wreck can be found in Oahu Hawaii. it’s at a depth of 115 feet (approx 31 mtrs). It seems that everyone who goes to Pearl Harbour and has a go at diving, normally dives this ww2 aircraft. It’s not far from the shore and the visibility is nearly always reported to be very good. By all accounts it is a brilliant first dive if you’ve never dived before. There are a number dive centres around there to choose from and I’d suggest you try the swimming pool try dive first, you’ll feel more comfortable in the sea having tried the pool first.

The propellers of the plane are bent backwards, indicating it hit the water with the engines turning. It is an American aircraft, and was believed to have gone down during a training mission in the 1940′s during the war.

This fighter aircraft fell from the deck of a world war 2 aircraft carrier. The tell tail signs are that firstly, it is in one piece and secondly, the propeller blades are undamaged, indicating that it was not turning and hitting the water at speed.

This again is quite a shallow depth, with plenty of sunlight reaching the dive site. The only need for the torch the diver has, is to see into holes in the fuselage or the cockpit.

There’s not much marine life about because there isn’t much in the way of ‘cover’ like a reef.
