Pack Of Lions

Lion fish are both colourful and majestic here on the reef. They are plentiful around the waters of South East Asia.

They are carnivore creatures and can live up to about 15 years. An adult fish grows up to about 38cm and can weigh about 1.2Kg (2.5lbs).

Although rarely fatal, the venom from a sting from these fish can cause nausea and breathing difficulties.

Generally you can observe them at close range while scuba diving, but only a fool with try and touch one!
